Welcome to Lyconic ("Company" "we or “us”).  We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy.  Capitalized terms used herein, but not otherwise defined shall have the meaning ascribed to them in our Terms of Service.

This policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide to us when you visit the website lyconic.com (our "Website") or access or use the Lyconic application, (our "Application") or otherwise access or use the Service (as defined in the Terms of Service), as well as our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting and disclosing that information. All terms not defined herein shall have the meaning ascribed in the Terms of Service or else the End User License Agreement, where noted.

By using the Service you understand and agree that we are providing certain software (namely, lnteliguide™, a schedule management and reporting software ("lnteliguide"), and Patrolguide™, an asset tracking and route management software ("Patrolguide")), on which platforms Active Users may push User Content directly to their associated Admin Users, and that such User Content maybe accessible by third parties, including other Registered Users, consistent with the Terms of Service.

This policy applies to information we collect:

On the Website;

Through the Application;

In e-mail, text and other electronic messages between you and the Website;

In e-mail, text and other electronic communications sent through or in connection with the Application;

Through related mobile and desktop applications you download from the Website, which may provide dedicated non-browser-based interaction between you and the Website.

It DOES NOT apply to:

information collected by us offline or through any other means, including other websites you may access through the Application; or

information that you provide to or that is collected by any third party, including advertising, that may link to or be accessible from the Website or Application.

If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our Service. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. This policy may change from time to time. Children Under the Age of 13

Our Services are not intended for children under 13 years of age. No one under age 13 may provide any personal information through the Services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected or received PII from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. Location Data (as defined in the Lyconic End User License Agreement).

Information You Provide to Us. The information we collect on or through our Service may include:

Information that you provide by filling in forms on our Website or Application. This includes information provided at the time of registering to use our Service, uploading User Content or requesting further services. We may also ask you for information when you report a problem with our Service.

Records and copies of your correspondence (including e-mail addresses), if you contact us.

Details of transactions you carry out through our Services. For example, you may be required to provide financial information before placing an order through our Service.

Your search queries on the Website and/or Application.

Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that your User Content will not be viewed by unauthorized persons.

Stored Information and Files. The Application also may access metadata and other information associated with other files stored on your device. This may include, for example, photographs, audio and video clips, personal contacts and address book information.

Location Information. The Application collects real-time information about the location of your device, as described in the End User License Agreement.

Cookies. A cookie is a small file placed on the hard drive of your computer or Device. You may refuse to accept cookies by activating the appropriate setting on your browser or device. However, if you select this setting you may be unable to access certain parts of our Service. Unless you have adjusted your browser setting so that it will refuse cookies, our system will issue cookies when you direct your browser to our Website.

Flash Cookies. Certain features of our Website may use local stored objects (or Flash cookies) to collect and store information about your preferences and navigation to, from and on our Website. Flash cookies are not managed by the same browser settings as are used for browser cookies.

If you do not want us to collect this information do not visit the Website, download the Application or otherwise access the Service and immediately delete the Application from your Device.

When you access the Service, some content or features, including advertisements, may be served by third-parties, including: advertisers; ad networks and servers; content providers; analytics companies; application providers; your Device manufacturer; and your mobile service provider. With your consent, including to any Admin User to which an Active User is related.

To comply with any court order, law or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request.

To enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including the Lyconic End User License Agreement, the Website Terms of Service, any purchase orders, as well as for billing and collection.

If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of Company our customers or others.

Choices About How We Use and Disclose Your Information

We strive to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to us. We have created mechanisms to provide you with the following control over your information:

Location Data. You can choose whether or not to allow the Application to collect and use real-time information about your device's location through the device's privacy settings. However, if you block the use of location information, some parts of the Application may then be inaccessible or not function properly.

Tracking Technologies and Advertising. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you disable or refuse cookies, please note that some parts of the Service may then be inaccessible or not function properly.

We do not control third parties' collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. However these third parties may provide you with ways to choose not to have your information collected or used in this way. Accessing and Correcting Your Information

You can review and change your PII by logging into the Service and visiting your account profile page.

You may also contact us at support.lyconic.com to request access to, correct or delete any personal information that you have provided to us. We may be required to delete your user account in order to delete your personal information. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.

If you delete your User Content from the Website and/or Application, copies of your User Content may remain viewable in cached and archived pages, or might have been copied or stored by other users. Proper access and use of information provided on the Website, including User Content, is governed by our Terms of Service.

 

Data Security

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure; email being a good example. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your PII transmitted through our Service. Any transmission of PII is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Service.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

It is our policy to post any changes we make to our Privacy Policy on this page. If we make material changes to how we treat our users' PII, we will notify you using the contact information of the Registered User specified in your account and/or via an Application alert. The date this Privacy Policy was last revised is identified at the top of the page.
